Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Beaam (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Beaam is operated by Teqnyk Ltd. (“Beaam”, “we”, “us”).
2. What we do
Beaam monitors infrastructure and services on your behalf and sends alerts when it detects genuine problems. We connect to third-party services (AWS, Sentry, Stripe, Supabase, and others) using credentials you provide. You are responsible for ensuring those credentials are valid and for understanding what access you grant.
3. Account and security
You must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us immediately at support@beaam.app if you suspect unauthorised access. We encrypt credentials you store using industry-standard encryption (AES-256-GCM) and never expose them in plaintext.
4. Billing and tiers
The Free tier is provided without charge and has usage limits (2 integrations, 5 services, email alerts only). The Solo tier is billed at $19 USD per month via Polar (our payment provider). Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled at our discretion — contact support@beaam.app.
5. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. Your account is protected by a daily heartbeat and per-account collection-silence alerts; independently of those, a watchdog on separate infrastructure alerts Beaam’s operator if the service itself goes offline. No system is perfect. Beaam is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed alerts, false positives, or any losses arising from use of the Service.
6. Your data
You own your data. We store the minimum necessary to operate the Service: your email, alert contact preferences, and the encrypted credentials for your connected services. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Beaam to monitor services you do not own or have explicit authorisation to monitor. You may not use the Service for illegal purposes, to send unsolicited communications, or in any way that could harm the Service or other users.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. When you delete your account, active authentication and control-plane records are deleted immediately and raw metric samples expire within 30 days. Limited processor or legal records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to your registered address. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
